The non-moral, non-ethical left-brain reason not to use AI generate images/writing is the results are shit. They were shit last year. They're still shit this year. They're not getting less shit. They will not, inevitably, become unshit, because every piece of non-shit writing is, by definition, new.

I just spent like 20 minutes trying to find a new desktop background and almost everything was AI garbage. I gave up
With AI polluting image search results I have a feeling we'll see a boost in popularity of old-school physical reference books.

I truly do not understand how AI is available for public use when literally all of them provide a disclaimer that they are NOT ACCURATE. Why is there no legislation regulating this shit.
I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain
