I hope you never need me, but if you are hurt in a crash with a negligent driver while on your #bikenyc or walking on our streets, I can help.

Here are some suggestions on what to do if you are in a crash. Critical among them: make sure you're safe, call 911 & accept medical help if you're injured.

Free transit idea for @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social that’s easier, cheaper to implement, has fewer weird what-ifs, and doesn’t involve the state:

Buy management control of Citibike, expand it citywide (finally), and make that fare-free for residents.

Please call @nycspeakeradams.bsky.social and your local council Member TODAY and ask that the Universal Daylighting Bill be brought to an immediate vote to save lives.

Speaker Adams: 212-482-6371
Lookup your Council Member: council.nyc.gov/districts/
Universal daylighting:
"Currently, most intersections in the city allow parking up to the crosswalk, blocking the view for pedestrians crossing the street...

While a majority of City Council members have signed on as co-sponsors, the measure has been stuck in limbo for months."
Here are all the major bills still before the New York City Council

Stuck in traffic today?

As part of the congestion pricing legislation, New York has the power to free the zone of traffic jams during Gridlock Alert Days by dynamically increasing the congestion pricing fee by 25%.

But Governor Hochul directed the MTA *not* to use this power.

Here’s something that’s really important for everyone to understand.

If we design our cities just for cars, they fail everyone, including drivers.

If we design our cities with many great CHOICES in how to get around, they work better for everyone, including drivers.

Spread the word.

Universal daylighting will save lives. That's why Intro 1138 has bipartisan support in the City Council.

Daylighting is the process of repurposing the curb space closest to an intersection to improve visibility for everyone.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
