This finding demolishes a central assumption of contemporary political analysis. Those young working-class whites, as well as young Latino and Asian men, that everyone assumes are driving reactionary politics? They’re more progressive on race than boomers, Gen X, and even college-educated elder millennials. Many commentators have highlighted “educational polarization,” the growing gap between college and non-college voters on partisanship and attitudes about race and culture. But the generational gap completely overwhelms this education divide that supposedly defines modern American politics. The progressive shift appears across every demographic slice you can imagine. Young men and women are moving together, becoming less racially resentful over time.

It goes to show - Queerness disrupts the heteronormative, reproductive logic that underlies both fascism and liberalism. Even when fascism falls, liberal institutions still move to normalize the intensified persecution of queer people, because the same foundational assumptions remain untouched.

This is Alice's friend Sandy Ho, posting. Per Alice's wishes, this message is being shared at the time of her passing. Hi everyone, it looks like I ran out of time. I have so many dreams that I wanted to fulfill and plans to create new stories for you. There are a few in progress that might come to fruition in a few years if things work out. I did not ever imagine I would live to this age and end up a writer, editor, activist, and more. As a kid riddled with insecurity and internalized ableism, I could not see a path forward. It was thanks to friendships and some great teachers who believed in me that I was able to fight my way out of miserable situations into a place where I finally felt comfortable in my skin. We need more stories about us and our culture. You all, we all, deserve the everything and more in such a hostile, ableist environment. Our wisdom is incisive and unflinching. I'm honored to be your ancestor and believe disabled oracles like us will light the way to the future. Don't let the bastards grind you down. I love you all.

The final plea PAPERWORK was manipulated to pick just one victim -- and his lawyers made sure they chose the oldest one so that it didn't look so bad. But the girl who came forward first to police was 14 -- and the list of other victims attached to that deal included many young girls.

Really struggled to raise for Fatma and her family yesterday. She’s been messaging me for help for months and has been so concerned about her parents and grandfather who she’s responsible for taking care of- if you have a little to help make things easier ❤️

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Fatma. Fatma and her husband had a small grocery store before the war which was destroyed along with their home. She is taking care of her daughter Lolo, 4 as well as their parents and Fatma’s grandfather all of whom have health challenges

Calling up my reps to let them know that if Schumer gets enough Democrats to cave in Healthcare, I won’t vote for ANY Democrats as long as he’s leader.

Wyden and Merkley are on point in this fight, but it can’t just be against Republicans, but against the capitulation to Republicans as well.
