Here's Chlöe Swarbrick's speech, that led the Speaker to throw her out of the House.

Clearly makes the case for New Zealand to recognise the genocide and ethnic cleansing taking place in Gaza and the West Bank, and for it to recognise the state of Palestine.

while all the arguments against AI are good and all, lets be real
The real argument against AI is that Sarah Connor would be very disappointed in us using it.

And we can't have that.

This petition to stop NZ First's stupid sex definitions bill has been open for nearly a week and has 1.2k signatures

The hate group's petition that spawned this bill took four months to get 2.2k signatures

Let's show just how little hate there is

Advice for our allegedly Christian PM.
When Jesus said
“Suffer the little children...”
he really didn’t mean
“Make the little children suffer”

Just saying.

Submissions have opened on the Treaty Principles Bill. You'll almost certainly see a lot of individuals and groups with big followings telling you to submit using a template that they provide. I am pleading with you to not do this. It's the least effective way to participate.

There are many people in NZ who were so pissed off by a woman leader ‘telling them what to do’ at the beginning of covid that they violently occupied parl lawn and spooked the govt into ignoring airborne mitigations.

Meanwhile, we were spared this:
Prof Kevin Fong giving the most devastating and moving testimony to the Covid Inquiry of visiting hospital intensive care units at the height of the second wave in late Dec 2020.

The unimaginable scale of death, the trauma, the loss of hope. Please watch this 2min clip.

I just got to tell 3 different men flashing anti abortion signs to fuck off on my way to the train station. They were getting up into everyone’s face, you couldn’t avoid them. I made a point of taking the flyer for the pro choice rally off the lone female trying to combat the idiots. Thanks Luxon
