Scotch Whisky/Gin is a mess. It's a: not REMOTELY Scottish, secret society!

Crazy Levels of UK Duty make it surprising that ANYONE can make money, many Distilleries, increasingly CAN'T!

We need Scotch to return Duty to Scotland, it's been a British cashcow, for 202 years.

It should be screamed from rooftops that @uklabour.bsky.social don't give a toss about Scotland. Those who voted for them last yar should wake the fuck up - if they haven't already done so.
Labour were willing to save the Scunthorpe steel works, but not Grangemouth or Mossmorran & their Energy Profits Levy is destroying investment, livelihoods & jobs in Aberdeen & the north east.

Scotland will always be an afterthought for Westminster, it’s time for independence 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

During Covid one particular process reassured worried Scots that crisis was being handled as well as it could be by devolved ScotGov without powers WM possesses - daily briefings on TV by FM Sturgeon. Pressure by Jackie Baillie MSP and his Lardship George Foulkes helped to have these *stopped*.

Sitting here absolutely bloody furious about this. There is no way to live without heating here in wintery Scotland while the temperature is so low. I’m in my 70s and for four straight days my heating has been on during the day. I turn it off at night to save some money. This theft can’t go on 😡

#UKCovidInquiry notice continual MSM, BBC Scotland & BBC spin about ‘the *FOUR* devolved nations of UK’. This is misinformation. There are 3 *devolved* nations with limited travel, economic & resource powers & a UKGovt with full powers. Only the UKGovt had the resources & powers to enact a lockdown.
