Why isn't Scotland allowed to have it's own broadcasting? Why, because then we'd be able to counter all those everything in Scotland is 💩 stories with facts and WM controlled BBC cannot allow that for fear we'd leave the UK and take our hugely valuable resources with us.

It’s been mental in BBC Shortbread…on a loop so it keeps Scotlands lower unemployment rates out of the news!
The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

“The scale of Labour’s collapse under Starmer is so steep and fundamental, never has Labour’s vote deserted in such numbers in its 125 year history. Not in 1931 when Ramsay MacDonald joined the Tories; not in 1981 when four ex-Labour Cabinet ministers broke away & formed the SDP.”

Nowhere in discussions about 'bias' in the BBC & the hysterical right-wing pile-on do many people cite the groundbreaking research by Glasgow University Media Group from 1970s. Starting with 'Bad News' (76) & 'More Bad News' (80) they systematically analysed BBC & ITV news.

They regularly are forced to later apologise (where the apology is never seen by the people they misinformed, of course) for 'misrepresenting' (also called lying) about Scottish statistics. Drug deaths, employment figures, etc. have been favorites.

When Boris Johnson was Prime Minister one of his senior advisers confided to me that one of the only things in politics his boss actually cared about was “killing off the BBC”.

Five years on, and it is a campaign that appears to be finally coming to fruition.

They have had an anti-Scottish government bias since 2007 and didn’t need led by this charge…they were trailblazing bias, lies and misinformation already…gaslighting a nation!

Which one is it?
