Say what you like about about Maccabi's racist, hooligan fans, but they do have excellent comedic timing.

Wah wah wah, why cant you be an old fashioned vulgar Marxist and make it easier for us to attack you, Zack?! Why!?!?!?!
Something I find striking about Zach Polanski is how - unlike the vast majority of those who played a key role in Corbynism - his politics are so clearly not rooted in any kind of deeper analysis or intellectual tradition. It's all just a surface-level synthesis of 2010s left-wing slogans and memes.

It's almost as if Nick Robinson is really, and increasingly, right-wing himself. Imagine.
What on Earth is this? An "in depth" BBC article about free speech in the UK that only cites examples of right-wing/ 'anti-woke' speech being suppressed. How can you mention Lucy Connolly but completely ignore Palestine Action / Just Stop Oil? Gob-smacking. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
How the simmering UK freedom of speech row reached boiling point
How did we reach a point where the UK is being compared to a 'tin pot Third World dictatorship'?

What a painfully muddled article.
"Labour are hamstrung because they're using outdated politics!"
Austerity?
"No, 'Deliverism'. Too much about achievements and not enough vibes!"
Oh, so Labour have some achievements?
"Not really. Everything is still shit and people are right to hate them"
...right
The revolution will be televised: Labour lost the plot, and we’ll pay the price

Britain deserves pride, not politics of fear. Labour’s silence leaves Reform to fill the void, and ordinary people pay the price

Add this to the long list of literature that has been making this point for decades. If political and media elites are still making this 'mistake', it's not from ignorance. It's because they want to do it. Or at least are more comfortable throwing minorities under a bus than standing up for them.

There’s an enormous amount of stuff in this book I’d like to highlight, but start with:

“What emerges as the most elementary insight is that, since we do not now have any ways of making computers wise, we ought not now to give computers tasks that demand wisdom.”

#OtD 27 Aug 1963 500 bus workers in Bristol, UK, voted to end the TGWU-enforced "colour bar" on hiring Black and Asian workers after a four-month boycott began by Caribbean migrant workers. It was a key factor leading to the later Race Relations Act stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/9883...

So while AI slop is being injected into our veins, access to a relatively benign (and in some cases pretty valuable) tool like Wikipedia is being restricted. Make it make sense
the Act has, amongst other things, potentially cost the UK access to Wikipedia

This live version of Everybody Loves you Now is soooooooo much better than the clunky original recording. An absolute masterpiece of bitter, unreliable narrator songwriting.

Then a Black guy said something it didn't like.

Very presidential. Very demure.
Trump: "We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the fuck they're doing. Do you understand that?"

One question that hasn't been asked enough, especially over the last 18 months, is what conception of national interest, in the minds of the FP blob, is served by the UK aiding and abeting this sort of atrocity?
This morning Israel opened fire on a crowd of Palestinians waiting for food, & reports are that at least 50 Palestinians have been killed.

A witness who was at the site of the massacre says the death toll will be far greater.

Companies have violated their licences. Shares worthless. Debt low value.

Railtrack, Northern Rock were taken over without compensation for investors.

Can do the same for water companies? But govt obsessed with privatisation.

Israel have said they will attack the humanitarian ship Madleen as it attempts to bring aid to Gaza and Starmer now has a spy plane looking at its location.

He should never be allowed to recover from this act of evil.
