I've been talking about this for a while, but I'm in an astronomical amount of debt on low income and it's actively preventing me from getting to a safe area for LGBTQIA+ people or afford healthcare. Dealing with some of it will really help me to take care of the rest of my problems. #transcrowdfund

We don't know why the Donald and Bubba story is suddenly drawing attention so many years later, but we can assure that it is being taken out of context.

I've been discussing this for a while, but I'm in some absurd amount of debt and need help. I've exhausted many of my options to manage this, and I don't expect people to take care of all of my problems, but I'm opening up a GFM. Help a broke trans/intersex person get stable & safe? #transcrowdfund

Idk how coherent this will be because my brain is kinda fuzzy right now but this feels like a perfect demonstration of my thesis that one of the defining characteristics of the current reactionary project is the need for mediocre men to be praised and rewarded just for being men

I have received a lot of death threats and suicide baiting with obvious hate motivations for my ethnicity, gender, disability, etc but have never seen my harassers get banned, the arbitrary nature of who does and doesn't get banned including often the victims of harassment is astonishing.
"People are mad that BlueSky won't allow them to make death threats."

No! People are mad that BlueSky's AI automod regularly gets it wrong, moderation decisions/ penalties are seemingly arbitrary, and the moderation team has terrible comms.

Growing up in a time when “selling out” was the most shameful thing you could do and then being forced to live through the 2020s feels like being kicked in the head by a horse every day

A lot of the people who've been the shittiest thing to me about supposedly selling out(despite being in poverty) have been people who did not in fact have to worry about resources. I've got a chronic condition to think of.

"Who are you to demand $200 a day?"

$200 a day is fuck-all, literally not even median income while I have a bachelor's degree.

My employer has been charging more every year citing "rising expenses", but I haven't had a COLA in three years despite losing medicaid and having my actual expenses continue to rise.

The worst thing about using a paid dryer is that you have to buy an entire cycle when you just need an extra 15 minutes. My jeans came out wet last night(yes I know some people will judge me for machind washing and drying jeans).

I mean Matt Walsh has been fairly consistent about "violating his kids' boundaries" per his words including lecturing one of my friends on the evils of how tankinis make him hot and bothered and how she should be more modest at the beach.

It's cool how the origin story for every beloved 80s property is "well Ronald Reagan got children's television deregulated, so there was this show that was designed to sell toys to people that aren't yet fully capable of understanding when they're being advertised to."

Computers were a skill. They were taught in classrooms as a skill. Skills give you power over your tools because you work them as an expert and that is leverage to multiply externally.

And then computers became an A/B tested telemetry-based advertising conduit to brains for SaaS recurring revenue.
