Trump implemented a garbage economic plan in the most chaotic way possible, branded it as 1000% his own, and when it went bad he refused to admit that he fucked up and clung to "EVERYTHING'S FINE, SHUT UP" as his economic message.

Since it's his fault, it's time for him to blame everyone else.

It took years, but I have come to accept that Garak is my favorite fictional character of all time and I no longer carry any guilt about this fact
Basically anytime there’s a win in the Dominion War storyline of Deep Space Nine or just anytime when Garak gets sassy.

Okay I agree with her on NOTHING AT ALL and she has done politics like playing the heel in a pro-wrestling match, and I literally never want to hear about her ever again.

Props where props are due for hanging strong on the Epstein files, but on the whole... go home, Margeen.
Marge Greene announces she is resigning from Congress, that she doesn’t want to go through a brutal primary against a Trump backed opponent, and says Trump has treated her like a battered wife and has been hateful to her and is trying to destroy her.

I swear, I really swear, I spent twenty years of my life trying to learn to be kinder to people about any dumbassery they commit, and then there was Trump, and MAGA, and now this administration's ton of swaggering simpletons.

Experience and expertise are still REALLY IMPORTANT THINGS, it turns out.

What's from Chicago, hates Illinois Nazis, and is holy as fuck?

It's the Pope in 1982.

Dear #RachelReeves: wealth taxes can work. Exhibit A: Massachusetts (see link). Why are you scrabbling around doing all the wrong things when you were elected to tackle wealth inequality? Something about your banking mates connections we don’t know? Please implement fairer taxes!
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

You know, an impartial observer might think it would be easier for ICE to prove all their claims about all the mean, mean people attacking them if only they'd wear body cameras like they've been told to.

On the other hand, that impartial observer would have to be an idiot.

I have not been this angry with my own party since 2004. Not only did they cave, but they did so after boasting about Tuesday and getting my hopes up that they understood the assignment to FIGHT.

Then they have the nerve to send THREE FUNDRAISING EMAILS today.

Jesus, Democrats. Read the damn room.

Americans showed up in historic numbers last week and proved they're willing to back a party that stands up to Donald Trump.

We cannot have the leader of our party be a man that caves to Trump over and over again. It's long past time for Schumer step aside.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

This is a good point, especially the second paragraph. If you want something to do with the Dem Senators who voted "no" and claim that this means they aren't at fault, demand that they prove it.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

We need to make it clear to the Dem Senate that they cannot simply put the sword into the retirees and think we'll let those running next year off scot free.

Make em understand that they're all collectively responsible.
