The phenomenon of ghost jobs, job postings with no actual job, is real. Often these postings are either to give a false impression of a company's health, just a fishing lure to get resumes in the door "just in case," or sometimes it's a way to gather data on competitors. It sucks for job hunters.

Camera movement has existed longer than we might think, with pans becoming common in the 1900s.
Early filmmakers also simulated movement. This 1908 fairy tale THE GRATEFUL LITTLE MICE gives the illusion of a zoom by pulling the performers and prop book toward the camera. It's nearly seamless.

This is getting a lot of attention in NC. Here in Durham, even the neighborhood forum is lighting up with indignation. When you have a space where bots don’t go, you don’t see the messages of support for this action that you do on X or FB.
