Racism aside, the problem with "it's not stolen, it's conquered" is that attitude is nothing but "killing you is an acceptable way to take your stuff" and I'm pretty sure that's bad. "I didn't steal your car, I conquered it" would, uh, not hold up at trial.

I'm not a journalist and don't have the capacity. But it would be really great if someone could get some of the larger employers (like Amazon) to go on record about what their policy is if any of their employees get picked up in a raid and miss work.

I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."
