Is this the War on Christmas I've been hearing about?
Fox guest on how to save money during the holidays:

"Remember, adults don't need gifts. Focus on the people in your life who are aged 3 to 18. Grandma doesn't need slippers. If they don't live by you, don't get them a gift."

Please don't let her be the only one. Larry Summers is a massive figure in Democratic politics. He's also a racist and misogynistic sex pest, a best friend to Jeffrey Epstein for more than a decade after his first conviction for child prostitution, and a reactionary centrist to boot.
Per CNN, Elizabeth Warren is calling on Harvard to cut ties with Larry Summers after Jeffrey Epstein's emails released last week by House Dems featured Summers making sexist comments + asking for Epstein’s romantic advice.

It’s incredible how easily these people just… lie. For no reason.

Then when they get caught lying, they’re like well obviously tariffs were going to raise prices.
KERNEN: If we're reversing some tariffs to try to help affordability, isn't that acknowledging that tariffs were responsible for some of the higher prices and inflation?

That's separate from Judge Currie's continuing investigation into the legality of Halligan's appointment & her behavior before the grand jury.

Again, this is an existential crisis for the entire financial & academic model of 🇺🇸 public universities, but the public doesn’t understand this, in part because our leaders have been on this issue. It’s maddening:

I’ve been trying to articulate this forever and this quote says it perfectly. Real hope isn’t passive, it’s active. But it’s also worth remembering that action doesn’t always mean sweeping change or grand gestures. Small choices count too. What a fabulous woman Dr. Goodall was. RIP.

The end of the de minimis exemption is one of the more exceptionally stupid, and punitive (on Americans), Trumper moves. The cost of fairly enforcing this on each shipment would likely far exceed the tariffs. So purchasers are already being treated unfairly.
