Please, may I introduce Tiny Dog.

We think she's a chihuahua X Jack Russell and is a wonderful grumpy old lady.
She hates most people -especially kids- dogs, and having her routine disrupted.

She knows that she is the queen of all she surveys and only trusts her own people.

I love her so much!

You know that person you keep meaning to message but never get round to?

Perhaps do it now, whilst you're thinking about it.
This time last year my brother was still alive.

I could have given him a call. I didn't though as how could I have known that in a few days from then he would die a horrific death trying to save his son.

I will regret not speaking to him more until the day I die.

Just remembering how we were taught in church that computers were evil and part of the mark of Satan.

My childhood really was batshit.

A few weeks ago I had very little knowledge of tariffs and how they work.

This was clearly Somebody Else's Problem.

My nephew is with us for a week.

He loves to hug people, but only once he has decided you are one of his people. Last time he was here for the week I got one hug.

I have already had several in the last 24 hours.

Life is not all bad. These moments are beautiful.

Incidentally, anyone looking to form an anarchist group could do worse than reading Quaker Faith and Practise, particularly the General Counsel on Church Affairs. Four hundred years of horizontal organisation has taught some valuable lessons.
I consider myself basically agnostic in terms of belief, but I've always felt like I had a home in Quakerism. A lot of my journey as an anarchist has been looking at the Quaker background I grew up in and going "ohhhhh".

🚨 Outrage as 20 police officers break into Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrest six. 🚨
This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

If this can happen in a place of worship, to quakers, it can happen to anybody, anywhere.

Quakers are known for their peacemaking. They do not tend towards violent protest.

Democracy is under serious threat

Just remembering the time Youngest child was reading Hogfather for the first time, and came to me crying with laughter, unable to speak.
Every time tried to tell me what was so funny he'd start laughing again.

What had caused this?

Someone's deadname is none of your business. Do not use it. Do not go looking for it.

I do not care who they are. DO NOT USE IT.

If someone trusts you with their deadname, never break that trust by revealing it to anyone at all. That is not your thing to share

I can hear it in my room. What the hell is it?

This really is a good podcast, I have learnt things about myself, and had to stop the car because Guy and Cat made me laugh so much.

There's very little Garfield content - don't let that put you off!
I make a Garfield podcast! With my wife! It's better than it sounds! We discuss neurodivergence, how to trick Alan Sugar, gnome gardens, Coronation Street chimpanzees, and more! There is very little Garfield content! It's genuinely helped my marriage!

Yesterday I had to sort out the shit we have in the cupboards either side of the chimney in the front room so we could move the cupboards to get in behind them.

I've completed that task, but somehow I now have 2 other rooms that appear to be mid sort.

I was reminded earlier about how, growing up in church, we were not allowed to be on our own in a room with an unrelated man.

It is no wonder all these white cishet male christian lawmakers have trouble understanding that women are people too
