Thanks Boris 😡 Just imagine the good that £140 billion a year would do in this country.
BBC News sum up gains for the UK

£2 billion - CPTPP
£5 billion - India
£9 billion - EU

However, keeping the UK outside an UK-EU Customs Union, and access to the EU Single Market costs us £140 billion a year

So yes, £9 billion is great, but nowhere near the £140 billion we have lost due to Brexit

Foreign states limited to 15% stake in UK newspapers amid Telegraph uncertainty.

Apply this to ownership of water, energy, steel, rail, auto, banking, airports too.

To have any press freedom, must not allow a person/company to own more than one newspaper, radio, TV station, social media platform.

Thames Water’s CEO defends £195,000 bonus just three months into the job.

Shameless.

The cult of bonuses is nothing to do with performance. It is for boosting profits by fleecing customers.

Nothing will change until water is nationalised and customers vote on exec pay.
Thames Water apologises to customers but defends bonuses
Bonus payments were defended by company management as the chief executive can receive up to 156% of their salary as a bonus, while frontline workers can only earn between 3% and 6%.

The Settlers documentary didn’t reveal anything new - it simply laid bare what mainstream media has ignored for too long. Now our government wants to do a trade deal with this regime? It’s disgraceful.

Given that it has stated its aim of growing the UK economy, we think the Government needs to quantify the effects of exiting the European Union as soon as possible by setting up an inquiry.

Labour’s plan to fit all new homes with solar panels is a fabulous idea. It will help slash energy bills to the tune of up to £1k a year. This is what the green economy is all about.

We went to Ireland to avoid the coronation. It worked well.
Think I am going to watch the Pope's funeral even though I normally avoid these sorts of things (I didn't watch Chuck's coronation). If they appoint a young-ish Pope, I might not see another event like this. Altho I am an atheist, there are some religious events that are moments in history.
