I just saw someone walk past my office pushing a huge 1000+ pound rolling equipment dolly intended for moving datacenter equipment (scissor lifting platform, the whole #!…) carrying one single Dell laptop, screen open, power on.
I get safety first, but at least lock the screen!

The worst part of adding new monitoring to a troubled system is that with no baseline, you almost certainly cannot draw meaningful conclusions from the data.
