God dammit, one of my favorite creators may turn out to be a terf.

God dammit.

I'm looking into it now.

I apologize if I've ever recommended her stuff to anybody here... provisionally. I'll say her name if I conclude she's a terf.

Over the years this song has seemed less relevant as editing technology has improved. Especially deepfakes and AI generation.

But today, suddenly, it seems spot on.

I wish I had a modicum of skill, I'd love to use this as the soundtrack to a video showing cuts of recent events.

Looking at the splash page of chapter 1 of a D&D-themed webcomic, and the first thing I notice is how horribly illustrated the drawn* bow is: the bow is too short, even for a recurve, and the arrow is too short, so the character can't pull it back more than halfway.

I flip the script, thinking of avionics first and watches last. But I've been making pretend airplanes for the last 16 years, so I first learned of Garmin for their avionics.
'Garmin uses rigs that can orient a device so it lands exactly on a specific point (like a button) over and over' we went behind the scenes to discover how Garmin stress-tests its watches

My favorite type of person is the guy who walks into a room and just starts talking, because a) nobody could possibly be having a conversation without him and/or b) whatever he's got going on is too important NOT to interrupt.

Some people call it Holocaust Remembrance Day.

I prefer to call it Fuck You Hitler Day.

I've never been big on my birthday, maybe I should rename it that too.

This was Mom's. I still have it.

Me: ...Pretend I said something witty.

See. I have emergency backup smartassery in case my regular smartassery fails.

Each of those things were *also* un-American.

Not because they weren't done by Americans, and by America, but because they were always contradictory to what America creedally claimed to be: the land where all men were created equal and endowed with inalienable rights
I fear my tipping point into madness is "Thus is un-American" posts in response to ICE terrorizing immigrants. I beg you to open Wikipedia (I would say a book but let's start small) and read up on The Trail of Tears, Fugitive Slave Catchers, Japanese internment, Indian Boarding schools & Jim Crow

Interesting that the DOJ considers following the rule of law to be "deeply misguided."

I pointed to the box of ramyun in Joseph's office and said, "Hey, I know what that is now!" So he gave me one.

After asking me if I like "spicy." I gave my usual reply of "Are we talking American spicy, or Asian spicy? Because I can handle the former."

It's American spicy. Not even very.

Forced a visiting friend to watch KPop Demon Hunters with me and my daughter a couple nights ago.

...She'd been warned, OK?*

"Not as stupid as I'd assumed" was part of her reaction.

The next day she was complaining that I'd gotten her into KPop, and now she is following BTS. She hates me now.**

Dear YouTubers:

If you say "without further ado" please don't keep saying non-content stuff. It means you're a fucking liar. Either go right into the content or don't say "without further ado." Also I don't give a fuck about your belt buckle.

Yeah, I figured it out.

I don't want to unmask because I'd turn into an insufferable arrogant sarcastic jerk.

I mean, even more than I am already.

You're welcome.

Apparently the Venu 3 is NOT, in fact, designed to detect an irregular heart rate. Thought it was (but not heart attacks).

Still, my heart rate was over 100 from 1am to 8pm yesterday and it kept saying how many goals I was reaching and ATRIAL FLUTTER IS NOT THE SAME AS CARDIO.

the only good thing about this part of the horrible shooting story is that it may turn out to be a gut shot for the carcass of @cbsnews.com and that's great. and unlike the ICE goon CBS has real internal bleeding.

Gavin, Gavin, Gavin.

Sometimes you do the right thing. But then you open your god damned mouth and show the world what a piece of shit you are underneath.

So I'm back in afib, with an atrial flutter with 2x blocking. That means I have an irregular heartbeat at twice the normal rate it should be. I've had a heart rate at over 100 most of the day.

My fitness watch has been telling me all day how I've been meeting some awesome goals! *snort*

I have a question...

Malevola is supposed to be six feet six point six inches tall (6'6.6"). Does that include her horns? Because if it does, that would put her closer to a human height of 6' without them.

...It figures I'd fall for the super-tall muscly demon lady, right?
