It occurred to me to think this morning of part of the reason that KPop Demon Hunters may be even more popular that it would have been on its merits alone (and I think it's awesome to start with). It's a very positive story with a simple message of hope. Right now our world is kinda crap...

phone text message: "Sorry if this is sudden . . . I see your number saved in my phone, but I can't recall your name. Who might you be?"

This is totally legit, right? And not the start of a catphishing attempt?

Peg A: measures 3/32" using my nice caliper thingy.

Hole B: measures 7/64" according to the very same measuring tool.

Result: Peg A does not fit into Hole B, even with a fair amount of force.

For those not in the US: Not going to explain how fractions work, but 7/64" is larger than 3/32".

It's not a blow torch.

It's also not a monkey wrench.

I love how Iris's bullshit just rolls off May like water off a duck, and meantime, May is effortlessly pushing past Iris's denial and making her confront her feelings.

ah, perhaps instead of pumping millions into endless factional infighting Dem donors could invest in making local Dem organizations genuine civic spaces that can reach people during and between elections

Yes, I spot patterns where there are none and point them out, much to the annoyance of others. You're welcome.

"1AM in the morning" Is that opposed to 1AM in the afternoon or 1PM in the morning? Doesn't "AM" _MEAN_ "in the morning?" *checks* Why, yes, it fucking does. Why not say "1AM in the morning an hour after midnight but 11 hours before noon when the sun is lighting the other side of the Earth?"

Gotta love it when you order something online and the item arrives and then you get a tracking message that tells you that the item is on its way and should arrive any time now.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaany time now.
