Also, it's a real coward's move not to link to the post, which proceeds to explain *why* and *in what way* it represents a cautionary tale!

Here's the post, so you can judge:

I held out hope for Matt Y longer than most because of his support for codetermination and other economic reforms, but this lazy, engagement-driven dismissal of LPE and blind support for all-things-Uber really points up my earlier error in perception.

This is bad enough coming from MAGA legislators. But in deep-blue DC, @murielbowser.bsky.social and @chmnmendelson.bsky.social are shockingly doing the same thing: rolling back badly needed voter-approved wage increases for tipped workers and slashing paid family leave

Why the hell are @murielbowser.bsky.social and @chmnmendelson.bsky.social blocking a badly needed wage increase for tipped workers? They're bought and paid for by the DC restaurant lobby and are a national embarrassment.

Vote @shahanafrombk.bsky.social
When we called out ‪‬ @mayaforcouncil.bsky.social for running a campaign on MAGA $, she called us "an outside group." We've been organizing in BK for 8.5 yrs. And now it turns out that Maya didn't even register to vote here until 2022! See 👇 👇

My choice to protect our neighbors from ICE and Trump:
✅Showed up today to support (and last week, and the one before that ).
✅ has passed and introduced legislation to stop ICE
✅ chaired the Immigration committee
That’s @shahanafrombk.bsky.social
I’m relieved that our courageous Comptroller is released and safe. But I am deeply concerned about the wellbeing of our immigrant New Yorkers who need to come into this building to process their asylum claims.

@dartmouthcollege.bsky.social president @sianbeilock.bsky.social insists to alums that she's fighting Trump's attacks on higher ed - yet hires a Stephen Miller ally as general counsel
Why did Dartmouth hire a head lawyer who is unqualified, argues against birthright citizenship, uses racist language, and is full-on MAGA?

The same school, not incidentally, with a President who won’t sign the letter that almost 700 other schools have signed, objecting to TACO overreach.
Column: Unqualified and unprepared: Why Dartmouth’s head lawyer needs to go
