A recovering engineer unfolding legends in story, table, and paper.

Chronically ill writer when I can, playing Pathfinder and folding too many cranes otherwise.
Figuring it out.

Hi all! I'm Steph Campbell, who you may know as the person behind @ttrpgkids.com!

I decided it was time to make my own profile, and I'm looking forward to being "me" here and also sharing some of my non-TTRPGkids related projects 👀

Took a break from game development to have some fun and make a little robot guy inspired by the @paizo.com website development robot. Tested myself to make this in under 2 hours to see how my progress is going. I’m pretty happy with the final result! This is my 6 month benchmark. #pathfinder2e

After telling queer folk that Target isn't a store for them, their stock is worth now what it was worth during the pandemic, when people couldn't visit their store.

You know what? Good. Pretending to support all Americans until you thought you could get away w/backing fascism? Yeah, fuck Target.

Doordash needs to stop offering "you can combine with alcohol from nearby shop." And instead "you can add on with local ice cream place."

Goldmine.
Don't try to make me double dash that - cause I won't.

Yes, "pregnant people" is inclusive language that describes pregnant cis women AS WELL AS trans men and nonbinary people, a lot of whom can get pregnant. But it also describes, like, 12-year-old girls who get pregnant. Do centrist pig-dogs think THEY are "women" too? Coz...bit of a red flag, that.

Reminder that, unless a creative freelancer has a spouse with a day job that offers health insurance, they likely have an ACA plan. And with the hits to creative industries the past few years, I'm guessing many qualify for subsidies.

Related reminder that comic creators are freelancers.
The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

We're out here getting hit with tear gas, losing our jobs, depleting our funds … and every time we push the line an inch, some critical portion of our leaders drop it.

The work of the people is not for a politician's comfort. And no politician should feel comfortable betraying that work.
Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

There has been talk that Kaine, the NH dems, and a few others are potentially willing to switch their votes if constituents are angry enough.

CALL IF THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE AND TELL THEM WHAT YOU THINK
According to @underthedesknews.bsky.social, it isn’t over yet. There'll be another vote.

CALL THEM ALL, especially these 8 “YES” votes:

Cortez-Masto
Durbin
Fetterman
Hassan
Kaine
King
Rosen
Shaheen

It isn’t over.

(I mean, PROBABLY, but maybe we can SCARE them out of it.)

Never forget that the airlines were instrumental in reducing the Covid isolation requirements and paid time off.

Why? It was hurting their profits.

They were about to lose money again due to the shutdown… so the Dems caved.

Medicaid & ACA will be gone to keep airlines happy.

Profit over people.

Is it bad that when I hear about an interesting TV show, I check if it was a book first?

Hey, I know visual / auditory medium is different, but nothing is like cosying up in bed with a book.
(And not like I own every streaming package either)

Things that should always be "free", in my opinion:

Basic housing
Clean water
Heat/AC
Healthy food
Health care (including dental and mental)

This should all be provided to every single human on this planet by their various governments. Paid for by taxes which are proportional to a person's income.
