I don’t find it useful to debate about what design is or isn’t, or even what craft means. Who cares? Do what is necessary for the thing at hand and understand why you’re doing it. Build your personal toolbox. That’s it.

OK but we cannot allow socialist firefighting. History teaches that socialism NEVER works.
As someone who is actually aware, even in a limited way, about the scale of response necessary to stop something like the fires in LA right now, the idea of a private team of firefighters running in to save individual homes is high dark comedy
