If law enforcement wants to enter your home, unless you consent, they need a JUDICIAL warrant like a search warrant. And you'll notice cops with search warrants don't ask permission.

And now that I'm typing, also completely unhelpful when the ERA does come before the courts (because that's where it's going as it currently stands).

But I doubt the courts are going to say it’s law because Biden said so. Private litigants can try, even if Trump’s DOJ won’t, but if they win, it won’t be Biden’s statement that makes the difference.
