I’m getting a bit of encouragement lately to progress my 2D animation workflow between Blender and Tahoma2D in 2026. I’m thankful for all the warm wishes and solid advice, and I want you guys to know that I make my 2D short films from a place of passion and heart. If I could make them better I will.

Not to be self-centered but the thing is even *successful* fullt-time freelancers get fucked by these layoffs, because now there are many many more people fighting for even more limited scraps
I’ve been full-time freelance since 2019 and have mostly been able to make it work but I take no pleasure into welcoming other journalists into this world

Very excited to see how far this gets with 2D animation. It's already the most intuitive free animation tool and i still appreciate that its backed by a smaller dedicated community of like minded artists and animators. hope to be helpful someday with my own projects. love from H-Town, Otto Crosswind
