A lot of this is due to Zelenskyy's hard work. He meets with Republicans all the time. He gives interviews on FOX News and Newsmax and CBN. He went to Utah to meet with Mormon leadership (and speak at the US Governors conference). He spoke at the Reagan Institute. He holds prayer breakfasts. Etc.

So, Rubio not knowing much about the Trump-Putin plan doesnt mean that the Trump administration did not. Vance certainly seems delighted with the proposal. It means that Rubio is less influential than people think.

New from us: India's power sector emissions fell for only the 2nd time in half a century, due to both economic and weather factors and record clean energy growth. The current drop is unlikely to be sustained but clean energy projects in the pipeline can peak power sector emissions well before 2030.
