I think it depends. Id argue that there is still a strong anticlerical sentiment among progressives/liberals but the post-2000s backlash against New Atheism has undermined our ability to talk about these things properly. Skepticism towards religion is still very much correlated with the left though.
Progressive people tend to treat religious belief as a harmless and valuable cultural practice, like an ethnic cuisine, as long as it doesn't play a large role in their politics. But if you live in a very religious society, it's hard not to notice its net contribution to ignorance and intolerance.

My favorite example of this is Lyman Stone, who is praised for his theological knowledge by people I otherwise respect, thinks that non-christians like me and my family are contributing to the moral decay of the US for that reason

Good morning, Nancy Mace, a horrible woman, has already tweeted about Trans women four times this morning.

She has amassed a collection of over 350 cruel and bigoted tweets and retweets in just a week.

the wealthiest man in the world having his mom go on TV to say she finds it "degrading" when people refer to him as the wealthiest man in the world rather than "the genius of the world" is some real tinpot dictatorship state-run TV shit
Elon's mom is on Fox buttering up her son and answering questions about whether anybody actually likes him. Cringe.

Because in fact, it is condescending if someone is like “I hate you. I want you to die“ and your response is “you poor, poor economic anxiety sufferer. I’m so sorry that I haven’t reached out to you better.” It’s a response that says you don’t think you’re dealing with an equal

1. Looking more and more like we’re going to enter the Trump administration with a 217-215 House of Representatives.

This is due to Trump poaching a few members for his administration.

But a two-seat margin puts the GOP in a very rough position.

Here’s the maturity and professionalism our new NIH director brings to the table when discussing doctors who treat sick people, unlike him.

He’s blaming us for the loss of trust in medicine.

We are the bad guys in his narrative. Laptop class dictate the heroes.

if you live around conservatives, a common bumper sticker reads “liberalism is a mental disorder.” you’ll see effigies of dem politicians, unhinged screeds about satan-worshipping dems written on lawn signs. this stuff gets ignored while any hint of condescension from liberals is treated as endemic

low key the most egregious condescension is this idea that conservatives do not have agency and are not making choices but are purely reactive and have no mind of their own
