Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

Remember just because you are peaceful it doesn’t mean the regime will be.

The protests are expected to be peaceful however the regime wants to crackdown with or without an excuse, don’t give them the satisfaction of arresting or terrorizing you. Be cool, be brave, and be strong. #3E #NoKings

That “gross indecency” was a conviction for being gay - illegal at the time.

my dearest sophia,

i have crossed the war torn streets and found my way into one of the few starbucks not yet closed by corporate restructuring. the mood was solemn as i ordered a seasonal Hocus Pocus Frappuccino.

i will return as soon as i am able to pressurize my bike tires.

Update from Portland: supplies running low. Please send fig jam and artisanal cheeses. For the jam, prefer GF, vegan, small batch, processed by a guy named River, who only stirs it during Mercury retrograde.

I think it is hard to take in the extent to which people's news sources are bubbled at this point. If you go to a Drs Office or hotel breakfast and see a TV channel you don't usually watch shock you with its twist on events, remember for some people this is ALL of their news.

DC belongs to the people, not some temporary part time staffer in a borrowed house.
Time to stand all the way up.
Every single person in DC that is physically able to get in the streets should do so tomorrow. What he's got planned in the wake of 'Big Balls'' "attack" spells the end of your freedom.

The felon has given official notice that he's going to start rounding up the homeless. I wonder what he's going to do when he discovers that many of them are employed. Has anyone yet wondered where he's planning on putting them? He says they'll be given a place to stay.

George Floyd should be alive today.

He should be raising his daughter, living his life.

5 years later, we owe him more than thoughts and hashtags.

His daughter said, “My daddy changed the world.”

Let’s stop failing her, and him.

Congress must pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

The “big, beautiful” bill ain’t beautiful—it’s bullshit.

House Republicans just voted for the largest cut to SNAP & Medicaid in U.S. history—turning their backs on their own damn constituents: the working people they were sent here to represent.

They don’t serve the people. They serve the rich.

This is who is suffering now, but it won't be long before they come for the rest of us.
