Ok I know this is old-man irritability but I don’t care if Mahmoud Khalil has a pregnant wife, I don’t care if he and his wife are childfree, I don’t care if he’s in a fucking polycule with a hedgehog and a jar of mayonnaise, NOBODY should be detained for protected speech, including singletons.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Maybe instead of purging the Social Security workers who make sure seniors get their checks on time, we should be expanding benefits to make life a little easier for your parents and grandparents.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau uncovered $21 billion of cheating and returned it directly to Americans.

That little agency is proof that we can make the government work for people.

Trump and Musk want to take that away, but we won't stop fighting to protect it.

What Actually Happens When a Trans Athlete Transitions
Fears of trans women taking over women’s sports simply doesn’t match up with the reality of the effects that transitioning and hormone replacement therapy have on an athlete’s body.

ONE BIG THING. When I mentioned that I had heard of at least one person who had already missed a Social Security payment, the staffers snapped to attention. That's a huge deal.

If you or someone you know has missed a Social Security payment, call your reps IMMEDIATELY.

American citizens should not have to enter into a contract with a private company (that’s an X account signup!) to receive government communications
The NTSB says it will no longer email news outlets or reporters with notifications of upcoming press conferences, including those on plane crashes in Washington and Philadelphia.

Instead, all notifications will be made on X.

We're filing a FOIA to find out more about the change in policy.

When there weren't enough bank examiners on the beat, SVB and Signature Bank failed, requiring big bailouts.

The FDIC should explain why it’s now axing even more examiners whose job it is to make sure big banks don't crash our economy.

Hey, while we're talking about erasing history:

In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun."

The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.

So they refused to announce a winner🤡
