I hate having significant control over my life, stress level, and what I do daily in someone else's hands. Why should anyone else have such power over me, when we are both equally adults? But this is the mode of life we have decided 99% of people should accept as the natural order of things.

I’m disgusted by the lack of historical memory in the US. I’m seeing People hold up the American flag and claim it’s an antifascist flag. ask the Native Americans if that flag is antifascist. Ask the Vietnamese. Ask the Iraqis. Ask the Chileans. Your flag is a symbols of death.

I was not aware of the quasi-religious political symbolism that the White House holds. Many liberals can ignore the leveling of Gaza while shedding crocodile tears for a symbol of power from one of the most oppressive states, in terms of foreign policy, ever to have existed.

It’s disheartening seeing so many American comrades belittle No Kings. If you didn’t go because it wasn’t sufficiently radical for you, then you need to reexamine your motivations. We are not idealists! There is no pure moment of revolution waiting to be stumbled upon like a coin in the dirt.🧵1/4

In my experience, the best places to plant the seeds for radicalization are non-political spaces and by engaging with apolitical people that know something is wrong but don't have the language to express it. It's far easier than trying to convert someone with an established political perspective.
