I don’t think this has really sunk in among the public. This President, all by himself, created a brand new tax that is going to wreck your reality for quite a while. He did it without authority, without Congress, without good cause, and without a plan to succeed. He screwed you all for money/power.
Imposing a 10%+ national sales tax through tariffs pretty much negates any benefit from tax free tips/OT, especially with all the job losses that will cause, which are effectively 100% taxes.
