We have A shop in Elmira that provides infrastructure to execute DIY repairs. They have tools stands and experienced mechanics for support. They ask for donations. It's a great concept.
Today's #goodnews is about Boston nonprofit that runs a 10-week class teaching teens how to care for & fix bikes. Once they graduate, they get to keep the bike.
About 200 teens work in the shop repairing bikes every year. They ship them all over the country & even set up in other countries. ☺️
