The relevant fact about Nazis is that they rather famously did not *start out* committing genocide and starting wars, but it *was* the natural endpoint of their stated goals.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out in Brazil’s judicial system. Hopefully justice will prevail where in the US it has failed.
