Going back in time 18 months, telling right wingers that the future Deputy Attorney General will go on primetime cable news to say “It’s not a crime to party with Mr. Epstein”, and then asking them to guess who the President is going to be.
Blanche: It's not a crime to party with Mr. Epstein.

House Democrats need to bring articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem, while Senate Democrats need to bring that chamber to a fucking halt.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

To America’s 2.3 million federal employees:

Don’t accept a buyout.

Neither Musk nor even Trump has the legal authority to make such an offer.

And even if they did, would you trust them to follow through on it?

what kind of stock trades do you think your senator has lined up for tomorrow morning? is that what they're working on tonight instead of figuring out how to get those teenagers out of the servers at the treasury?

Correction: Medicaid payments have already been confirmed disrupted, so we don’t need to hear what a paid propagandist working for a convicted rapist has to say about the situation. CNN surely regrets the error.

Lots of reporting suggested that, this time around, Trump and his lawyers would avoid the sloppy legal work that plagued his first administration so they’d fare better in the courts. I see no evidence of that in this round of executive orders. This is poor, slipshod work obviously assisted by AI.
