It’s infuriating when political polarization ends up costing ordinary citizens directly—$400 million for congressional security is no small sum. It really highlights how the fallout from divisive leadership doesn’t just stay in the abstract; it hits budgets, public resources, and day-to-day life.
So now the taxpayers have to shell out $400m for additional congressional security because Trump has divided the country so much, they feel threatened just doing their jobs. How much longer are "we the people" going to tolerate this BS.
