Both NY senators. Sickening. Can’t wait until they both face the music with this chickenshit.
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Some people took down entire websites, changed mission statements and mandates or dropped entire projects at the start of this year

But kept the job
Kept the title
and kept posting online telling other people what they can do to save the world

But couldn’t even hold the line themselves.

I’ve always liked Jojo Rabbit? Funny to me how Taika hasn’t really changed but everyone’s response to his movies has.
It doesn’t really count and nobody liked the movie but it’s underrated how funny Sam Rockwell was in Jojo Rabbit
This is a fun question—best “serious” actor in a comedic role of the last decade?

This guy rules. Got me excited to vote for NYC comptroller of all things in 21. Would love to hear his voice in the federal mix.
I’m running for Congress because we need leaders who will fight, not fold. I recognize this moment, and I’m ready to meet it. #FightDontFold #LanderForNYC #LanderForCongress

It’s not over but when it is I will never, ever forget the “serious people” who buckled and compromised and abetted the torture and crime and murder for a fascist lottery ticket.
I think the core point is that trump had a honeymoon in which capital/media/political opposition all decided he was the one true voice of america. he did a lot of horrible things with that (including murdering 100s of thousands), but didn't consolidate power...

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

I do agree with this take, and couldn’t care less about a building. But I also think it’s powerful imagery for people to see how literally destructive this admin is in all aspects. The optics are horrible.
Maybe I just do not respect it but I really do not care about the White House being torn down, does not seem like pressing news to me compared to anything else they’re up to
