NEW: The F.D.A. announced in an internal memo that 10 children died "because of" the Covid shot. Other experts want to see proof.

“This is a profound revelation,” Dr. Prasad's memo said. “For the first time, the U.S. F.D.A. will acknowledge that Covid-19 vaccines have killed American children.”

This is what guys like Yglesias, and everybody else making hay about Kamala supporting transition care in prisons, want to happen everywhere.
EXCLUSIVE: A forced detransition policy had disastrous effects in one Georgia prison, according to the manager of the medical unit there.

The policy is on hold due to a court order requiring prisons to re-start hormone treatments for incarcerated people in GA.

My "favorite" Kessler "fact check" was when he called Bernie Sanders a liar for correctly noting that "Three people in this country own more wealth than the bottom half of America." Kessler's argument was that it doesn't count because "people in the bottom half have essentially no wealth."

imo the left really needs to put a lot more effort into organizing veterans, especially now. they aren’t a political monolith, and a lot of them are getting screwed over right now.

Q for the room: Which incumbent Democrats 1) look beatable in primaries and 2) are missing the moment?

The lowest-hanging fruit is probably in districts represented by elderly members who struggle to show up for votes, but I haven't seen recruitment there yet.
Increasingly seeing 2026 midterms as the last chance to replace Appeasement Democrats with Opposition Democrats ahead of the existential national fight of 2028.

personally i think it's a great story about how this is like shooting fish in a barrel for the GOP because they keep stumbling across things like "free universal reproductive care" lying around on the ground where dems fucking abandoned them and going "don't mind if i do"
People’s reactions to these stories tend to be of the leopards-eating-faces variety but this is a great piece of reporting in part about how voters very disconnected from politics make their choices.
