Zionists seem to think that the only issue with the nazis was that they were wrong about the Jews. They don't disagree with violent methods of control, or with the racialized class framework, they don't disagree with ethnonationalism. They simply think the nazis used them against the wrong people.
I'm struck by this clip of former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz saying Holocaust education has backfired in part because people Palestinians as victims: "They think the lesson of the Holocaust is…you fight the big powerful people hurting the weak people."
