COVID, influenza etc are airborne, transmitted in bioaerosols that require routine wear of N95 / FFP2/3 respirators and high-quality ventilation to stop. If your hospital doesn't have both, the people making those decisions either don't care if you get infected, or are nearly a century out of date.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Swedish Scientist Judith Bruchfeld has made a statement saying that any COVID infection can lead to between 9-12 months of immune dysregulation. This opens everyone up to both ‘bacterial and fungal infections’. I’m afraid I only have a link to x here for this but see research below. 🧵

Two months ago I downloaded an app called Streaks that lets me track a few daily & weekly work tasks and I have never thought I was someone who was motivated by keeping up streaks for habit-building but I guess I am learning new things about my brain because I have not let a single one of them drop

The great thing about the arts is that it teaches you to think critically so you can do so many things. My spouse, like me, has a BFA in Visual Art. He became a software developer lol. As a parent, I want my kid to do anything that brings them joy and fulfillment in a hard and joyless world.
