Sports, Nature & Humor. Not always in that order. Follow me for some random sports (mostly Green Bay Packers) takes and I'll follow you back!

This place is great without the toxicity. Let's keep it that way, huh?
You absolutely can say and do racist things without realizing it's racist.

But I'm from a really small community in a conservative area, and you would be surprised how many people will openly and shamelessly admit to being racist when they think they are in a safe place with like-minded people.
So no a person does not have to have the intent to be racist to be racist, not at all, & I think white people learning antiracism have a misunderstanding about this.
As long as people really think most racism is done by people who know they're racist & intended to be racist there's a huge stall. Even most of the worst racists don't think they're racist, it's only a few who do. The people who attended lynchings did not believe they were racist.

Idk man. I think there's room for everyone's beliefs as long as they aren't harmful.

The billionaires behind it don't have some scheme planned--they genuinely think telling the world that Jesus was cool will help.

Is it a huge waste of money? Probably.
I was back & forth on whether or not I would watch the Superbowl this year.
This seals it.
I will not be watching.

I love Daniels, but he's lower than the other two because he has so much growing yet to do.

His LSU offense was so dynamic but also VERY simple. Throw to one of your first 2 reads (who happen to be 2 of the best 4 WRs in the nation) or take off and run.
Why are people placing Caleb Williams & Drake Maye over Jayden Daniels? #NFL

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs.

I'm sorry you lost friends because of your beliefs, but Aaron, some people lost loved ones because of those beliefs.

I don't mean they had a falling or a disagreement--I mean they literally lost their loved ones because they bought in to your beliefs.

From what I understand, no bets can be placed through 'X'--they incorporate BetMGM's odds into their platform and users would have to click a link to the site.

But it's still a weird move. As you mention, many users aren't old enough, and many more live in places where it's still not legal.
Genuine question. How is it legal to give users the ability to gamble and make sports bets directly from an app/site that allows users under the age of 21-yo? Don't people have to be 21-yo to gamble?

Very cool!

We can do better, but this is a step in the right direction.

How could they possibly be kept in the dark? There are billions in broadcasting deals between them that extend well beyond the anticipated release of this streaming service.
Sources: NFL, NBA, and other sports leagues were kept in the dark about the sports streaming platform being launched by Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Fox (Wall Street Journal)

Lol! Idk why people get so annoyed at this sudden influx of non-football people into the world of football, because posts like this make me smile.

Even if you learn literally nothing more about football, I welcome you with open arms.

Once upon a time, Aaron Rodgers was the coolest cat around.

While other QBs went all rah-rah captain-of-the-team on us, Aaron was the laid-back Cali surfer telling us to R-E-L-A-X. He was the anti-hero QB.

Then, in a matter of DAYS, he exposed himself as the ridiculous conspiracist we know today.

People like Rodgers like to say, "I was taken out of context" when being held accountable for their words.

To be clear, the full context of what Rodgers said about this (and many other things) doesn't make the quote any better.

I'm sure if things keep trending the way they are, those entities will show up. They always do.

The question is whether or not they bring the riff-raff over with them.
...and while I can see "cousin Fred' at least trying it, uncertain whether Taylor Swift, CNN, the Green Bay Packers, and other mainstream types "Fred" wants will join Bluesky.

I can understand where this is coming from. However, Favre is the only true monster, here.

Rodgers is just...odd.

But Jordan Love is the literal embodiment of everything good and wholesome in this world.

Also Bart Starr (RIP) was like the NFLs favorite grandpa. Solid dude.

Betting on sports can be a fun hobby, but shouldn't be anything more than that.

Sports are unpredictable--that's what makes them fun--but that's also why planning on making substantial money off of them is foolish.

Bet responsibly and NEVER chase your losses.

Here's the thing: Taylor Swift is a genuinely thoughtful person. The fact that she'd be stealing the moment away from guys who've been waiting their whole lives for it is enough to make her refuse that kind of spectacle. Not a chance.
The speculation — and, at least in Canada, betting — has begun over whether Travis Kelce will get down on one knee and pull out a ring for Taylor Swift if the Kansas City Chiefs win on Super Bowl Sunday, a “I got one ring and now we need to add another” moment that would break the internet.

This is how lots of Chargers fans feel and I don't blame them. He could've picked someone people are completely unfamiliar with and they would feel better because at least the unknown is exciting.

But bringing in Roman feels a lot like Rodgers bringing all of his veteran buddies to the Jets.
