NEVER sign a contract where the publisher keeps your rights indefinitely. For short stories, there should be a point when you can sell reprints.
and NEVER sign your movie/TV/etc adaptation rights to a publisher. Those are yours.

My boyfriend and I for Halloween went as our friend’s totaled mustang car (him) and I went as the deer that totaled it. It took our friend a second to get it when he saw it and thankfully also found it funny and didn’t kick us out from the party lol.

I was giving the cats some of my leftover chicken and when I was calling the fat one over to put her bowl down the skinny one, mouth full of chicken, started telling the fat one off garbledly. The fat one was confused, and walked away. The skinny one’s greed is BIBLICAL.

I love when my StressWatch app validates me getting overstimulated in real time and calls it out. I’m able to try to use grounding techniques to calm myself down. I just find it funny that going out & about shopping stresses me out to the point it’s telling me to calm down.

Side note: I love how my book (BHS) has the only straight main couple I’ll probably ever write because these two were created before I realized I was queer af in every direction… and the real horror became gender roles and default heteronormativity. 😂
