Excited to share a recent review article that I published on Cardiovascular Aging and Hematopoietic Mosaic Loss of Y Chromosome. Main take-home: there are strong similarities between loss of Y and aging in clinical correlations and disease progression.

Mosaic pattern loss of Y chromosome, which occurs in ~40% of men by age 70, is causally linked to heightened risk of many diseases, including cardiovascular, bladder cancer, and Alzheimer's. But it's almost never assessed clinically.
