MapBlast had line drive directions. Better than everything that came after.

Print those out and you were good to go.

I’m potentially stranded overseas. If I am I’ll have to try to get pet food shipped to the kennel because I only sent enough….
So, I'm flying home on Saturday. Just got an email from Delta saying that the administration is demanding that they cancel 10% of their flights and ... they're figuring it out. Might be cancelled, might not. Hard to know.

Comforting.

A great song lyric is from Dylan’s “Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again”:

“Your debutante just knows what you need, but I know what you want”.

I thought of that the other day.

I used to get so bored out in right field that I’d squat down to pick the grass. Eventually my dad or one of the coaches would notice and yell at me.

But this guy gets it.
outfielders have to be the worst farmers i've ever seen. what are you doing out there? get to work

I always say that jaywalking is an imaginary crime (I’m a white guy). So I’ll cross wherever I want.

People ask, aren’t you worried that your safety is your own responsibility.

I tell them, it’s exactly the same in the cross walk with the “walk” light.
Be sure to check *all* directions for inattentive cars. Especially:
- Yellow lights
- Turn arrows
- Stop signs they don't feel like it
- Wrong way on one way streets
- Driveways
- Sidewalks
- Bike lanes
- Trees maybe
- Probably the sky soon idk

Hi @npr.org! We worked late tonight putting together this handy pocket guide!

It doesn't address road design issues, but if we're going to educate road users, we should include drivers.

It's the size of a folded business card. Print it, fold it, put it in your wallet!

Someone disabled comments and quote skeets, but said: I can’t stand people who criticize what you choose to do for a living.

Anyway, you better not say anything bad about spending six hours fucking with a GitHub repository’s secrets to just get the goddamn CI to run.

I hate the fucking squirrels. I can’t get to work on time because my dog won’t shit in the morning, she’s so obsessed with the squirrels.

I’ve had a headache since last Friday, feels like unbearable pressure and pain behind my left eye. Went to the doctor and he said that’s a classic migraine.

Holy shit! That’s a migraine. Oh my God, I never knew. I thought a migraine was a “bad headache” but I never imagined.

I’ve been feeling down lately so I’m trying to cook my way out of it. Just about to blend some cream of leek and celery soup that smells really good.
