Rep. @AOC: I understand that Vance believes shooting a young mother of three in the face three times is an acceptable America that he wants to live in, and I do not. That is a fundamental difference between Vance and I. I do not believe that the American people should be assassinated in the street.

Today my pastor of several years was detained by ICE at the lawful demonstration where ICE officers murdered Renee Good.

Three times they taunted and asked him if he's afraid yet. They let him go because he's white, saying, "Well you're white and it wouldn't be any fun."

This is his story:

Destroy these motherfuckers. Ounce by ounce.
Here's the ICE agent "defending himself" by shooting into the driver's side window of a car that's pulling *away* from him.

Put this photo on the front page of every newspaper in America.

Last day of the running season yesterday means I just *had* to stretch out my '75 SF Zephyr consist as much as possible.

Should have a few more cars (and fewer stand ins!) when the Museum reopens in the spring, too!

The big man from the North Pole isn’t the only one who can deliver lots of toys. We have had some big shipping news, too!

The Batch 1 (Stage 1) Evolution Coach liveries are on the way to the UK, with the LMS Iron Ore hoppers and GWR Open C wagons.

They are expected to arrive in Q1 2026.

not sure if it's just from me being that kinda train nerd but i kinda would like if advocacy groups for passenger rail would make theoretically schedules for services and then explain what would need to be done for them and how they could intersect with other trains.

I say his gently, but…

There’s something unspeakably shameful The United States letting people go hungry.

Not because its government doesn’t fix it —

but because tomorrow a few private Americans could, and never notice the cost.

That’s the part that sits wrong.

With Northstar shutting soon and people doing autopsies of it, I think more transit agencies should recognize what killed it. The reliance on mostly transporting people working bankers hours, The end of the line being short of a major ridership hub, and service cuts kept after covid.

ProPublica spoke to about 150 people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.”

We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words.
