Getting a total knee replacement was only the start. Hopefully no more surgery ever but note how the right femur developed a bow after decades of running on the lower leg.

Getting a total knee replacement was only the start. Hopefully no more surgery ever but note how the right femur developed a bow after decades of running on the lower leg.

Also triathletes, stop wearing black or dark one piece race suits. There were always a bad idea, except for the swim. Yeah, Jan Frodeno demonstrated when winning the Olympic gold that white isn't good. Solution, you are not Frodeno, you can stop to pee.

If you have a lower leg length difference of more than an inch, flat pedals are the only option.

Disappointing that the PTO seems to be going all in on sports washing. There was problem to solve - inconsistent and low pro funding for long distances races by Ironman.

Disappointing that the PTO seems to be going all in on sports washing. There was problem to solve - inconsistent and low pro funding for long distances races by Ironman.

Today marks 3-weeks since my total knee replacement. I'm walking unaided and this morning in PT I did 5-mins on the bike with full circle cycling. To say it's going exceptionally well is an understatement.
Today's update. Total knee replacement day 12. My time is definitely helping with compression tights to help prevent blood clots.
Also, I've been walking around the house unaided without much of a limp since Thursday. Lots more work to do though. Hoping to restart Rouvy membership before christmas

Watching Gwen Jorgenson come back from another injury and surgery was awesome. She obviously has some way to get fit but still a very admirable 6th in what was effectively a C-race.

Watching Gwen Jorgenson come back from another injury and surgery was awesome. She obviously has some way to get fit but still a very admirable 6th in what was effectively a C-race.

I was very surprised to hear Olympic runner Georgia Hunter Bell does so much of her training on the bike, so I met up with her in a south London cafe and asked her all about it

I've used a LOT of medical booking/records systems over the past year. The worst of which, by a country mile is Qure4u Inc.
I had 20 PT appointments booked through it, so far it was generated more than 60 emails and text messages. What do I want? Just the ability to put those in google calendar
