Not surprised but far from a given. At one point @worldtriathlon.bsky.social was leaning toward removing the Olympic distance from the Olympics and making it a sprint.
To be fair there is a very long way to go to make T100 a watchable TV sport.

Not surprised but far from a given. At one point @worldtriathlon.bsky.social was leaning toward removing the Olympic distance from the Olympics and making it a sprint.
To be fair there is a very long way to go to make T100 a watchable TV sport.

A guy sat down across the aisle. He looked familiar. We never spoke. 9-hours later we disembarked, I walked into the men's room, he followed, stood in the next urinal. Me: Good flight; Him: not bad.

Getting a total knee replacement was only the start. Hopefully no more surgery ever but note how the right femur developed a bow after decades of running on the lower leg.

Also triathletes, stop wearing black or dark one piece race suits. There were always a bad idea, except for the swim. Yeah, Jan Frodeno demonstrated when winning the Olympic gold that white isn't good. Solution, you are not Frodeno, you can stop to pee.

Disappointing that the PTO seems to be going all in on sports washing. There was problem to solve - inconsistent and low pro funding for long distances races by Ironman.
