Gobby educated urban liberal.
For anybody who doesn't know this part of history, I recommend looking-up the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, which enabled the Soviets and Nazis to carve-up Poland between them and led to the Second World War.

Your annual reminder that Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day are not re-enactments and not cosplay. There was a feller wandering around Malton dressed as a First World War cavalry officer, which I thought was in very poor taste.

Three years ago, after the Martin Bashir scandal, BBC boss Tim Davie tried to prevent future crises by appointing two “external editorial experts” to scrutinise BBC journalism. Oddly, both came from PR rather than journalism.

@pimoroni.com I've just completed an awesome file and media server using your NVMe base and case. The instructions at shop.pimoroni.com/products/nvm... are foolproof so thanks for that. I don't know how often the list of NVMe SSDs is updated but FYI I had great results with a WD Blue SN580.
NVMe Base for Raspberry Pi 5
Add super-fast storage to your Raspberry Pi 5 allowing for lightning fast boots, NAS use, and snappy applications!

Is there a reason I ask that the Times are using a picture of asylum seekers in a boat to describe rules for migrants who came on legal routes such as skilled worker visas for doctors?
Tough new conditions to be imposed on migrants who want to settle in the UK will not apply to more than a million people who arrived in the UK under the post-Brexit immigration surge
Labour’s tough new rules will not apply to migrants already in UK

I've written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage, urging them to join me in condemning Elon Musk's dangerous remarks inciting violence yesterday.

As leaders, we must stand together and make clear Musk will face serious consequences for these actions.

Every elephant is born with a trunk, but they don’t automatically know how to use it. A delightfully clumsy learning curve ensues, as calves come to grips with this incredible appendage. Zigi is a ‘grandchild’ of our Orphans’ Project: His mother, Zongoloni, was orphaned when she was just a baby.

Are Private Eye jokes now... criminal?

PALESTINE Solidarity campaigner Jon Farley was arrested during a silent march in Leeds last weekend. What egregious act had prompted the police to act? He was, er, carrying a Private Eye joke piece as a placard!

Astonishing evidence at the Covid Inquiry.

The Government repeatedly ignored offers from the Crick Institute to provide mass testing on a national scale.

Instead, the Government paid Deloitte consultants to project manage, not yet established, privately run labs.
