10 episodes is never enough but they packed a lot into those 10, Dr M'Benga remains my favourite with Uhura a close second. And now begins the year long wait until season 4, so I'm back to rewatching Discovery. #StrangeNewWorlds

I grew up watching the Golden Girls and loved it but it's been years since I've seen an episode so thought I'd do a rewatch. It's remarkably progressive for its time, a few episodes don't hold up and I'm amazed my religious mother allowed this to pass while arguing over every episode of Grange Hill.

Increasing temperatures from climate change have led to a 40% reduction in blue whale “songs” in just the past 6 years alone.

“It’s like trying to sing while you're starving,” said John Ryan, a biological oceanographer.

The world's oceans absorb more than 90% of the excess heat from climate change
Blue whales are going eerily silent—and scientists say it’s a warning sign
A six-year study off California’s coast shows how marine heat waves and noise pollution are silencing the ocean’s largest singers. Does saving the ocean start with hearing it?

Not only Superman but many comic characters are 'immigrants' - Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Constantine (DC); Sub-Mariner, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Black Panther, Wolverine (Marvel); many more.

But it never used to matter, and they were appropriated for American superhero teams anyway.

Mr Blonde’s “I'm gonna torture you anyway, regardless. Not to get information. It's amusing, to me” is now less a line from a movie, and more a statement of public policy for far too many governments.

Well done BBC, another great season comes to its conclusion. Loved seeing parts of China and India on this route. Would've loved to have seen the sisters win but everyone did so well. #raceacrosstheworld

Rich people are *easier* to bribe, because they are accustomed to avoiding consequences for their actions

Poor people are more difficult to bribe because they know if they're caught there will be zero mercy shown by the Government in its prosecution of them
Of all the ridiculous things people say with a straight face, the most ridiculous might be "you can't bribe him, he's rich."

You think rich people don't like money, and don't do things for people who give them a lot of money? Are... Are you serious?

Thousands of UK companies break the law every day and nobody stops them.

Fraud, tax abuse, false accounts…all ignored.

Here’s how that neglect is costing us billions – and why no one’s fixing it | Prof Richard Murphy

Why don’t we punish people who break company law?
It is ridiculously easy to create a company, and company law is there to protect us. But nobody is policing it. Why not?

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.
