Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

Important to remember that the TikTok deal, which delivered the app into the hands of pro-Trump billionaires, was only made possible by President Biden and the Democrats.

Trump turns Biden’s TikTok law into a big win
Biden officials said selling TikTok would safeguard it from political influence. Now, critics of a spinoff deal to Trump allies say that aim could be subverted.

This is such a misunderstanding of why writers, artists, and designers do research to begin with, which is to find something unexpected, not capture the average or find reference for the default.

And, as always, the biggest misapprehension: We don’t want to NOT do this part. It’s fun to learn shit
Anyone who supports this is an embarrassment. "Instead of typing it out they'll generate their idea"? Are you insane?

Call yourself whatever you want but you aren't creatives, that's for sure.

Imagine being in opposition against Trump and having this low of an approval rating.

The US needs a real opposition party that is able to represent its people.
Democratic Party Approval Rating (not a typo)

🟢 Approve: 18% (-55)
🔴 Disapprove: 73%

Shockingly, this bill would have failed were it not for the 3 Democrat defections.
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

As expected, now that the Democractic party can rely on Trumps falling popularity to win races, it no longer needs to reflect on why it lost in 2024.

In other words, no lessons learned, no progressive policy push, minimal reversal of Trump's orders, and another 4 to 8 years until the next fascist.
NEWS: The DNC is killing off its 2024 autopsy.

DNC Chairman Ken Martin has decided not to publish a public report, believing that a backward-looking document would be counterproductive as the party has started winning.

The West made this argument after Iran nationalized its oil.

Even worse, the US south made this argument after abolition.

They said they "created" US wealth through slavery and that abolition was the "tyrannical expropriation" of legally acquired wealth and property.

That's who they are.
