I'd like to ask a serious question. Can a lawyer explain how this situation might NOT end in a toppling of the case. I get there's plenty of nuance in the law, but this clearly seems like a Titanic/Iceberg event, no? What the hell could they possibly say that would remedy this problem?

Last Thanksgiving, two Dallas Police officers knocked on my door, citing a tip from the FBI national threat operations center that I was beating my girlfriend. The incident report confirms this.
