for a warm up I did a quick test of the frieren angle thing thats been going around.
I think the original drawing implied a perspective/ angle that some of the versions i've seen haven't taken into account.
My one isn't perf but hopefully it makes sense.

I did some design practice recently. These two are Louhi and Väinämöinen from the Finnish epic, Kalevala. I tried to design them as if they were going to be added to MTG (psst, WOTC, get me to do Kalevala secret lair??) which was a really fun challenge.
