I wanna invent time travel and then require every high school student to take a class called "All The Shit We Fixed Before You Got Here" where they tour smog-filled US cities, polio wards, pre-vaccine hospitals, buildings with no safety regulations, kids working in mines, etc.

It’s a cool time to be living with a condition 100% guaranteed to kill you soon unless one of these trials hits… 🙃
The Trump regime’s cuts to NIH grants disrupted more than 380 clinical trials, affecting over 74,000 participants. The cuts disproportionately impacted trials on infectious diseases and minority communities.
Trump slashed spending on clinical trials. The toll is starting to become clear.
Grants for 383 clinical trials were terminated and the funding disruptions affected more than 74,000 trial participants, according to new research.

Abolish ICE, and prosecute every last Nazi who works for them. This is so far beyond obscene.

We took on a powerful incumbent who was expected to coast to reelection.

We faced more corporate PAC money than has ever been spent attacking a candidate in a Seattle election.

We built a people-powered movement rooted in hope for our city’s future.

And we won.

This is YOUR city!

Hey Seattle City Council, here's a idea: What if (and stick with me here for moment) instead of spending the next four years working as hard as you can to make Mayor-Elect Katie Wilson fail, you work WITH her to try to do what's best for the people of Seattle. She's a reasonable person. Talk to her.

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

@murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov my two senators: after yesterday’s unforgivable, unconditional surrender, your constituents demand new party leadership in the Senate. You should lead the charge to remove @schumer.senate.gov and @durbin.senate.gov, or resign. This was the last straw.

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

If the rest of the party doesn’t immediately move to remove Chuck Schumer as their leader than the whole party needs to be flipped. And the Democrats in the Senate that went along with this horrible fucking scheme need to be heckled every place they go until they flee the country and shame.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

Blame *all* Democratic incumbents for this surrender. Not just the ones voting for it. The others could have voted to remove Schumer long ago and install a leader capable of formulating a strategy and holding his people together. They were content to stay with a proven loser.
I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.
