everyone is trying AND FAILING to yield their time to the US fucking Senator who took the day off to testify against this, because Trenton does not want to hear his testimony (multiple people have tried to yield to Kim and Beach is rejecting each one in turn)
The committee called policy analyst Peter Chen to testify. Chen, who said Andy Kim has a train to catch, offered to give his time to Kim. Chairman Jim Beach said no, sparking murmurs in the crowd
