The former name of the Washington football team is a racial slur.
Hey corporate America, this is what you want? If he decides he doesn’t like the name “Goldman Sachs” will you change it? What about law firm names? Suppose Trump wants you to drop the names of certain founding partners?

When is it enough?
Trump says he may block the deal to move the Commanders back to DC unless they re-adopt a racist team name

Complicity that masquerades as fecklessness is no better than the GOP's brand of complicity, and it may actually be worse. Better to know the enemy is a wolf than to find out it was disguised as a sheep.
The term that most accurately describes the current crop of top Democrats is: complicit.

The term that describes the new Democratic leaders we need is: implacable.

Section 527 of the 2024 DHS budget bill could not be clearer: DHS may not use any funds to prevent a Member of Congress from entering an immigration detention facility for oversight.

Here is ICE quoting the DHS spokesperson saying Noem herself told ICE to deny Members entry without her sign-off.
ICE responded informing me and my staff about their new procedures - we informed them of the law.

In other words, the 'your heads will be on a pike' warning issued during the Senate trial in the First Impeachment.
With one week left for the Senate to pass his rescissions package, Trump singles out the anti-PBS, anti-NPR part of the package and says "any Republican that votes to allow this monstrosity to continue broadcasting will not have my support or Endorsement."
